BlueCat has a long and distinguished history of discovering writers, introducing them to the film and television industry and launching their careers.

We read every pilot and provide written notes on all submissions to develop you into a professional writer of television.

Submit your pilot by our Opening Day Deadline on January 7th and receive your written feedback by January 21st!

BlueCat has the best feedback! When you submit your pilot, you will receive script analysis at no extra charge. After receiving feedback, all writers will be eligible to revise their scripts and resubmit.

Send us your pilot—-we want to help you develop your script!

There will be two winners: Hour Pilot and Half-Hour Pilot.

The winners will win $2,000 each and be introduced to over four hundred literary managers and agents.

Every writer will receive a written analysis of their pilot.

I'm confused. The Opening Day Deadline was four days ago. Or is that just when submissions open?

Maryn, mystified on behalf of those who write scripts

Unimportant

As subtle as a brick in a sock.

Was also confused by the date. I’m guessing there is a fee judging by comments indicating one in the previous threads. The 2022 thread also noted some concerns; not sure if still relevant.

ETA - Per their site, it appears to be a $40 or $50 fee (depending on length of pilot script) plus various submission dates, starting with January 7th.
