...now we just need to get rid of the Dodgers and it'll be a more tolerable series (and also annoy ESPN without a "big market" team).

Yesterday's Mariner's game was hard to watch.
I'm still angry they didn't let Miller go a full six. He was cruising and probably could've gotten out of that jam. That said, our bullpen melting down like that is a badddd sign.

Sidenote: THAT BALL WAS FOUL.

Just need another trademark Dodgers Bullpen Collapse to get rid of the biggest hat selling teams.

One of the things I like about postseason play is there are even more cameras. I love being able to rewatch a questionable call from multiple angles.

To think the Mariner’s managed to pull off a win in the bottom of the 15th.

Humpy winning was the spark the Mariner's needed.

Also what a set of games from the Mariner's pitching. Bryce Miller coming in Game one and throwing six innings of one run ball, then three more innings with only 24 pitches thrown. Game Two, we've got a pitcher coming in on short rest and the offense absolutely blowing the door's off the Blue Jay's pitching. The series is coming back to Seattle with a 2 game lead.

I don't know what to do with my hands, I've never been here before.

Brewers... may their 2025 season rest in peace. You had a great season, but as a baseball fan, how can you win against a guy who strikes out 10 hitters and oh by the way hits 3 home runs? Shohei is unreal.

In ALCS news, the Mariners have clawed back a lead off a Geno Suarez grand slam that registered on seismographs, and the series is heading back to Toronto. For those non-mariner fans in the chat, this has been the most successful mariners season off all time, and I've been lucky enough to be alive for it. What a time to be a Seattle fan. Also, our hockey team is playing Toronto today, so that's fun.

We were behind the Brewers, but Ohtani was and is such a force that we lost hope early on.

Okay, who are we liking for the Series? Or do we just not care any more?

On the one hand, I don't like the dodger's going to back to back World Series because they have the most money and don't care about how they spend it. While the Blue Jays beat us, I don't hate them nearly as much as jays fans think we do. I still won't be watching the series just cause my life is getting a tad crazy right now, but I'll try and catch some highlights.

So I'm hoping Blue jays take the series, but Shohei keeps doing Shohei things because yes, he's getting nearly a billion dollars, but man he is fun to watch.

Connelly Early managed pretty well for the Red Sox in the playoffs. IIRC, he had maybe 3 starts before that game.

I presume the coaching staff knows who's going to rise to meet the demand despite the pressure.

For sure, and he did quite well against the Yankee's and Mariners, I'm just surprised he's getting the Game one start. To me, the Blue Jays and Dodgers are both similar pitching teams, they've got great starting rotations, but their bullpens cannot be trusted to close out games. Maybe Sasaki for the Dodgers, but outside of that? Good luck holding the lead.

To be honest, I paid very little attention to either of those teams until their final games of the playoffs.

I think I'd like the Blue Jays to win, but I'm not real hopeful.
