Inventing time machine-

For the week ending 10/30, I wrote 23,643 words for book 8. I kinda wrote another 394 for the sequel to book 4, but I don't know whether those will get incorporated into the book when/if I start drafting it. (I'm thinking I'll query book 4 before I start to write the sequel.)

...and I realize I only proofed 7 more pages during all of last week. Oof. I need to work on that. (It's even worse considering I often write more pages in a *day* than I proofed all of last week. How the hell am I supposed to keep up with myself?)

For the week ending 11/06, I wrote... 24,490 words? idk, felt like more than that. 6k of that was on Halloween, and then my numbers for the week seemed relatively strong so I thought I'd be coming up closer to 30k. Oh well, a good week regardless.

And then I submitted one of my previously rejected stories to another publication, one that's doing an open-call for unpublished authors. I figured I might as well take advantage of my lack of publication while I've got it.

For the week ending 11/06, I wrote... 24,490 words? idk, felt like more than that. 6k of that was on Halloween, and then my numbers for the week seemed relatively strong so I thought I'd be coming up closer to 30k. Oh well, a good week regardless.

My progress this week is writing & editing a new short story. Also, returning to some prose I wrote about a month ago and actually starting the editing process. I've been writing lately but vehemently avoiding the editing part. I also joined AW to branch out beyond my 2 person writing club. Haha.

About 900 words written and about 2500 words edited.

Not much but I'm happy with it.

Anyway, the week ending 11/13 was 22,186 words to the WIP. I think I might have submitted a short story or two?

Still have the rest of Saturday for this week, but sitting at 21,725 words written so far, and I should *probably* do at least another 1.2k to hit my daily target

Not a whole lot to say. I guess November is going well. If I keep up momentum, my word count will better than October's despite having an extra day there. And then December I might start scaling back to proof/edit/revise/whatever the earlier stuff.
