dragonjax is on the board, wasting time she can't afford
checking 20 times a day, her ambition fades away
as she waits to hear about any news, trying to discern any clues
hovering like a dumbstruck fan, what happened to her plan?
She was gonna be an author, the one noone could resist
she was gonna write bestsellers and not settle for the mid list
her high-speed ISP is now the enemy
looks at her average life, and nothing has been all right

and if you like to sleep with the lights on

(or Richard Bachman, I don't get that thing)
Her two kids, and husband, they just don't understand
why she's checking day and night:
