I'm looking for Wall Street memoirs that would give a feel for daily life in the financial sector, not necessarily about how to make millions in derivatives. Any suggestions?

Market Wizards

Reminiscences of a Stock Operator

And an old classic that is still fun to read: Where are the Customers' Yachts?

There's also several good books on Warren Buffett and the markets in general, but I don't think that's what you're looking for.

Where Are the Customers' Yachts? is a work of genius. Genius.

Alexander Elder has written two or three books that are interviews with stock traders. Entries and Exits is one of them that might be helpful.

There's also an updated version of Market Wizards called, unoriginally enough, The New Market Wizards.

And Stanley Bing is the go-to guy for the humorous side of all this stuff.

Also, maybe A Zebra In Lion Country (also known as A Zebra Among the Lions) by Ralph Wanger, who used to run the Acorn Funds (of which I have been a shareholder for many years).
