I found this Entertainment Weekly article the other day about Manos the Hands of Fate. The Worst Movie Ever Made (http://www.ew.com/ew/article/0,,1068572,00.html). It's quite in-depth and is worth the read. Turns out the actor who played Torgo was on acid for most of his scenes. The writer/director was a fertilizer salesman who made the movie on a bet.

Ahh, you'll read all about it. Enjoy.

I first heard of this movie on The Internet Movie Database when I checked out its Worst 100 Movies rated by users. I don't know what it's about and I don't care. :)

I can't imagine sitting through any version of Manos that isn't the MST3K version. My eyes! They burn!

Hilarious. Sounds absolutely terrible in a good way. I remember when Baby Genius 2 came out... that actually hurt me.

Great article! And the crown jewel of MST3K.

I was just talking about this...Torgo is referenced in a film I am in that is coming out this weekend. I was explaining to the lead actor where it came from. I sent him that link!
