View Full Version : Cast your novel-based movie

How many times have you considered what happens "after"? After the acceptance, after the editing, after the book tours... What happens when the movie rights are snapped up?

Pretend you get the first and last word in which studio, which director and/or producer, and which actors. To make this more fun and interesting, there are two ways to play.

1) Your movie will begin filming within a year's time. What does your cast and crew list look like?

2) Due to Doc. Brown, you can now go backward in time and bring your favorite actors to the present to make your movie. How does this change your line-up?

(Limit your list to 5-8 names total.)

This was tough seeing as I have 85 characters to cast. I wouldn't mind playing a local at the grain elevator or the one of the railyard bulls.

Dickie Souder- Tom Hanks
Yvonne Souder- Emma Amos
Paperlegs- Marilyn Manson
Jolly Jack- Simon Cowell
Mrs. Partenheimer- Penny Marshall
Odyss- Catherine Zeta-Jones
Pigeye-John Fogerty
Johnny Trocar- Any Jonas brother will do
Female zombie- Britney Spears (couldn't resist)

Protag - Eva Mendez
Protag #2 - Johnny Depp
Antag #1 - Kirsten Dunst

And even though my book doesn't have any nudity in it, Johnny Depp would have to strip off all his clothes and perform the role in nothing but his skin throughout the entire film.

These are the rules.

They must be obeyed.
