I happened to catch it last night. (The premise, if you haven't heard of it, is basically American Idol for the offspring of rock stars: Joe Walsh's daughter, Eddie Money's daughter, Dee Snider's son, etc., 9 in total.) I wasn't too impressed, frankly. Some of them obviously did not inherit their parents' musical ability, and some did (in that their parents weren't excessively talented either, IMO).
What do you think of the way they're handling the voting? Each performer gets a score between 1 and 10 from each of 4 judges, and the one who scores the highest is not subject to the voting public; they are untouchable. I kind of like the idea, but I wonder how it will play out.
I don't think I'll be watching religiously, but it was kind of interesting.
