so it appears that i'm at 99 rep points. if i understand correctly (and i usually don't), my next rep point will get me a shiny new green square.

And to think I just made "well-respected." That has a nice ring to it I think, and the whole "distinguished road" bit wasn't bad either (♫the road goes ever on, down from the door where it began...♫ ) I should think I'd like to stay right here. The whole "spectacular aura" and "beacon of light" sounds like it would be rather a liability in my secondary profession, I'm afraid.

All this reminds me of my teaching days. Once for a laugh I gave my 6th year class (16/17-year-olds) their essays back with stars stuck on them. Their first reaction was: 'Aww, Miss. We're grown up!' - then two seconds later they were all fighting over who got a gold star and who only got a silver one!
