You definitely know the books are about dragons, which I assume is your intent.

Are they properly edited? In manuscript format? How many beta readers have gone over them?

ChaosTitan

NO ONE, not one single person, wants to steal an unpublished manuscript. Period. End of story.

What would they do with it? Light a campfire?

Copyright ain't the only thing that flows from the pen, apparently. Just sayin'.

Harrowing the Dragon is actually a collection of short stories. Otherwise, carry on.

BTW, Pamela Dean's books kick ass.

Just in from the Associated Press--

Vanna White has been arrested by the FBI after an undercover sting operation exposed her nefarious plan to take over Campbell's Soup after distracting their board of directors by flooding the Alphabet Soup line with vowels.

Beta readers are great. Without them it's extremely difficult to know what's wrong and what's oh-so-right in your story The admission that you didn't even know what a beta reader is smacks of amateurism.

And, I must be honest. You have to KNOW the different between there and they're and their as a wrtier. Same goes for to , two . and to and your and you're before anyone would take you seriously.

If you've finished the books, then great! Good job. NOW IS THE TIME TO FIND SOME BETA READERS. The title, while initially cool, are already the titles of existing books so you have to get rid of them. Best start now.

And cut the no vowels language out. That does nothing but tick the rest of us off, so stop trying to be clever when talking to us. Be normal. We have long-running serious debates that go on in this forum; you should try checking some of them out.

Good luck.
