...at any given moment - for things to be right with your world?
Things change:
Astrological factors
etc.,. (so many things!)
How do YOU deal with all this as you try to make things right with your world?

Um, Chocolate!

No suicides in any given month, is a good start.

A friend of mine's daughter stepped in front of a train, at the beginning of the month. A local cop shot himself, while on duty, last week.

I eat some hot soup and my hands get warm. That's always nice.

For me, nothing feels right if I'm cold. I can't even think straight. Also I like to have neatness around me, but that never happens. Therefore I often don't feel that great!

AmyDoodle - Chocolate does it for me, too!!!

03-30-2008, 05:57 AM
SpookyWriter - ALL that on a fishing trip?!! What more could you ask!

Jean Marie - Sometimes tragic news from those you know as well from Media reports is more than enough to ruin a day.

I'm the wrong person for this question. Not even chocolate is cheering me up right now.

Change of plans. I'm heading for Europe in May. I may not return.

03-30-2008, 06:03 AM
Materia the Mad - I'm glad you mentioned warm soup. No matter what's going on, it's downright warming - AND comforting!

03-30-2008, 06:14 AM
Mandy-Jane - I know exactly what you mean !
You feel better when you're warm and cozy 'midst neat surroundings.
I think that's because it gives one a feeling of security.
It can take some doing to make it happen.

DamaNegra - 'not even chocolate' ???!!! How could that be!
If you can find a peppermint patty, go for it. They're said to be consoling.

SpookyWriter - IF you DO return - please let us know how the fishing is in Europe.

I second Amy's nomination of chocolate. :)

How about hot chocolate in one of those big soup cups?

03-30-2008, 08:24 AM
I need to be right with myself before I can be right with the world. A latte usually helps.

A chocolate Egyptian woman?

Order and neatness. Which I don't get much of, to be honest. But I feel very satisfied with life when my home is neat and tidy. And smelling good.

Failing that, a nice hot bubble bath will do.

I'll take one of those, thank you.

My family all at home (even though the kids live elsewhere and aren't kids any more), with a fire, popcorn, and a DVD. The world is all right whenever I can make that happen, no matter what else is going on.

Maryn, unmoved by even the finest chocolate

Strumming, or, listening seems to work for a lot of folks!

Susie...Chocolate topped my list, too - until this afternoon when Spring finally got serious
enough for a long warm walk in the sun!!!!

Maryn...'a fire, popcorn & a DVD' would be perfect for this afternoon with winter refusing to leave! ...mixed snow, rain & wind, after a few promising warm, sunny days.
