Do you ever check someone out here at AW?

Yeah I've checked people out. The judge however says that I'm not able to do it anymore.

LOL! No, I've never even googled someone I met on AW. Never even thought about it, 'til now.

Checking people out--nope. Running in fear once and a while--yep.

Google? No. But if they leave a sig link to their blog and I'm bored out of my skull and find them remotely intriguing, I might click it.

So far I have visited the blogs of Perks, Mac, KTC, Scarlett Peaches and Toothepaste.

Yeah, I have done it, not too much of course, but is always interesting

I get google alerts several times a week which indicate that someone at AW, after reading my posts, has googled me. I got one today where someone googled me after my hysterical laughter at the "Assies (should have been AUSSIES) Needed" thread yesterday. So yeah, I'd say that people on AW check each other out frequently.

I googled myself once and the internet broke.

Yeah, I'll click on links to their books, or homepages - whatever they care to post, if I find their comments interesting. Isn't that the point of posting links? To have people come visit your webpage?

Yep. That's the point. And I'm always very happy and pleasantly surprised when someone gives a rat's patootey enough to click on my links and check out the other things I do.

It's a definite warm fuzzy.

I would never Google someone...it's seems very stalkerish to me.

I actually feel a little creepy just going to someone's public profile here on AW. I think I have issues.

How do you set up a google alert to tell you if someone from AW googled your name?

Guess I don't know that much about google. I thought it was just a search engine.

I only click the profiles of the people stalk.

I've visited homepages of members whose books I've purchased and read, including maestrowork and will lavender. As far as googling them, no, never done that.

Someone asked me the other day why I don't have anything in my sig line. He must've wanted to check me out further. Freaky!

I click on everybody's links in the threads I visit (well not EVERYBODY), but I'm a clicker.

I just do it to be really creepy.
