AW wasn't responding for me for over an hour! I was about to have a heart attack! I was about to leave a message here:

when I checked one more time and it came up for me...

So, what happened? Or was it just something in the InterWeb Pipes between AW's server and my ISP?

Yikes, that was scary to click on AW and have it say "URL not found." So glad it's here!

I'm sure once the folks who affected the fix want to let us know what happened will.

However, if you have a moment, please add you note of "thanks" to those tech and management folks here who worked to get it restarted. They are quiet, cool and brilliant, and they don't hear "Thanks" often enough.

Judging from "New Posts" times, it was down from 4:28AM to 11:59AM (Eastern STANDARD time, I and my computer are on daylight savings time), so it was a good 6+ hours it was down, and it wasn't just my ISP as I first suspected...

It was out for way longer than an hour. Sometime between 4-5 A.M. I think? Yes I was up then and online. I don't know what happened, but I'm sure glad it's fixed.

Thank you, thank you! I've been stroking too, plus I tried to goole and opened the third down that stated AW was gone, shut down with only a 24 hour notice. It took a while before I finally read the date--2006. Whew! Thank God you wonderful techies got it up again shortly after.

Scott Hawkins fixed it, this time - our server co-lo had to power down to do some maintenance work, and when we came back online we were munched.

Things might be a wee bit squirrelly for a bit. Be patient with us.

I hate when I can't get in. At work I can't access my home email to find out what's going on. I feel like I'm stranded at night in the middle of nowhere on the side of the road and my cellphone has a dead battery.
