Hello fellow writers,

In my proposal, do I use italics for words like Court TV, Sundance Channel, and Lifetime Television --just as I would the name of a book or film?

For instance, would I have written that sentence like this?: In my proposal, do I use italics for words like Court TV, Sundance Channel, and Lifetime Television --just as I would the name of a book or film?

Thank you!!!!

Nope. The way you have them in your first sentence is correct! The names of TV channels (as well as publishing houses, film production companies, etc.) are treated as companies / brand names, rather than titles of works, at least in terms of text formatting.

Good luck with your proposal.
