I got 4 tickets for the June 8th Leonard Cohen concert in Toronto. Middle section, Orchestra!!!! Awesome seats! I'll be going with 2 writing friends and also taking my daughter for her 20th birthday present.


I'm coming, Daddy! I'm coming!!!!!!!



(okay...I know I'm a nerd...but for the past year I've mostly had only one CD in my car...Leonard Cohen. I have loved his music, his novels, his poetry all my life!)

hehe. I can calm down now. I thought it was a conspiracy against me when I saw the pre-sale for the 2 previous concerts sold out. Thank God they added a 3rd and 4th concert!

BTW, Kevin, I just posted a life-affirming thread at HOL about what happened to ticket brokers who bought out a popular concert here in minutes...

Thanks, guys. Yes, Haggis...I'm getting reimbursed for half, as my friends will be paying me back of course, but the total price was $566.00. Well worth it for me.

I have to check out that thread, Maryn. I know that's what happened with the first two concerts...they went sold out in minutes and it was only a pre-sale. Sounds fishy to me. They didn't even get to open the ticket sales up to the public.

Now all I have to do is hold my breath until June...that shouldn't be a problem.

My hubby met Leonard in the elevator in the CBC building last year. He said he was short and polite.
