This Friday, March 14 (or possibly Saturday, March 15) is Pi Day! Also sometimes known as "pi approximation day" by sticklers.

This youtube video is fun -- it picks up at about 4:30 minutes.

Happy Pi Day!

Awesome. I believe I'll celebrate it by getting a bunch o geeks together: we can shout out as many of the decimals as we know, until we're blue in the face or three sheets to the wind, whichever comes first.

Speaking of slightly odd holidays, is anyone celebrating Dyngus Day, also known as Wet Monday?

Don't let it go unobserved! Find that girl you always wanted to talk to, and wake her up with a bucket of water and a good whipping.

Sounds like a good holiday, Sunna! Eat Kielbasa, dance a polka, drink beer, and wave pussywillows around...who could ask for a better time? No wonder folks in Buffalo need to take the Tuesday after Easter off too.
