Zooba is located in Mechanicsburg, PA.

How does Zooba work? (http://%3Cb%3EHow%20does%20Zooba%20work?%3C/b%3E)
Sign up in 2 easy steps, then create your personal Reading List. Once you have selected your first book we'll rush it to you right away. Get the top book from your Reading List each month. Buy additional books whenever you like for the same low $9.95 each with always free shipping.

How much does it cost? (http://%3Cb%3EHow%20much%20does%20it%20cost?%3C/b%3E)
Zooba charges the low monthly fee of $9.95 which includes your monthly top pick with free shipping. Any additional book is $9.95 with free shipping. Sales tax applies in NY, PA and IN. Keep plenty of books on your Reading List so you don't miss out on your monthly book.

What this tells us is that book club editions wholesale for very low prices. This is because they print a ton of them.

Royalty rates for authors aren't great with the bookclubs (it's a subsidiary right) but ... they sell a ton of them.

Bought by DirectGroup Bertelsmann to be part of Bookspan (marketer for BotM club and others), and became Bookburst (bookburst.com) for a while, but now redirects to The Literary Guild: https://www.literaryguild.com/
