My husband is trying out for Last Comic Standing RIGHT NOW!

He's at the audition as I type, and I'm so nervous for him!

He's tried out before and made it past the prelims, but never to the show. This year, the producers called him in for a special appointment so he didn't have to wait in the big cattle call line.

Thanks guys....and yes, I do! So I'm just as nervous as him....of course it's a collaborative effort, he writes a little, I write a little. I could never, ever deliver the material the way he does. And today he's doing all of his white wife jokes, (he's Hispanic), if he gets through this morning, we'll go to the Improv tonight and help him get through the "in front of a live audience portion" of the tryout.

He didn't get picked this time....

Well, such is life, but thanks guys for the kind words. He's waiting for his exit interview right now...

The Leno day was a good day for him. He only met him though, never been on the show. Maybe if we lived in LA.

One good thing lately is he's producing a once a month show at the Improv called "Laffin' With Latinos." He did it regularly about a year ago with a club here in Houston called the Laugh Stop, but now that the Improv is here, he's moved it over to them. Bigger name and (hopefully) bigger crowds.
