Hi All,

I was asked to do a reading of my Stories of Strength short story at a local talent display. The event was held yesterday. I think it went ok. About a dozen people asked for the details on how to buy the book and lots more picked it up and leafed through it while we chatted. Several asked for my email address so that they could contact me about getting more information.

About 75-100 people were there. It was fun, even though I was shaking in my heels. The husband recorded it, but the lighting was terrible and I can't seem to turn the video without it going all squooshed up.

Anyway, it just reminded me of how proud I was to be a part of this project.

Thanks, Jenna and everyone else who helped!

Sara

Hello everyone at absolutewrite. I haven't posted since forever but had to find out if anyone knows what happened to the website for our Stories of Strength. It is now owned by an online pharmacy for viagra, etc. which gives a whole new meaning to strength!! One that I am now totally embarrassed to be a part of.

I, for one, would have liked to have had the option of knowing it was going to lapse and asked if anyone else would like to keep the website active as the true Stories of Strength that we all put our heart into.

I don't want to be a b***(* about this but I am in shock. Am I the only one??

I'd love to hear from anyone who knows how this happened.

Thanks for reading, janetr
