How Grandma sees the remote

That was me week before last. Yes. Uncanny resemblance, as I aged thirty years in about 10 hours. And that's what the tv was doing.

Our audio/video system is now so complicated that I have to pop a Xanax just to get the courage up to go looking for Pay-per-View movies.

I'm with Grandma.

Last time I went home I was greated by 3 remotes, a million buttons each. I gave up and tried hitting the power buttons on the flat screen and sattelite box. Somehow it didn't work out for me which just left me standing there dazed Eventually I got it sorted. Surprised I didn't hit a 'program expensive speakers to never work again' button though

remotes are one thing that makes me reluctant to babysit.

Like even besides that there are five of them and mysteriously the numbers and words have been rubbed off three of the five remotes....

They're ALWAYS FULL OF CRUMBS.

And let's face it, that is just disgusting.
