BOAT EXPERT NEEDED!!!!

I am in desperate need of someone who knows a lot about sailing. Someone who will know about knots (speed, not rope knots), types of yachts, general engine, gas, electrical issues, nautical miles, and how to find coordinates?

I've sailed, raced a tiny bit, not an expert. Verr comfy w/ nav. The sextant and hydro tables are fun and fascinating and I'm glad I learned their use, but if your story's modern, the folks will use GPS for finding coordinates. Took clazsses in small engine repair, inc diesel (decide if your engine is gas or diesel)--what exazctly do you want to know?
My exper's on small sail boats, not much than 10 meters. Are your story's yachts really yachts? Mega sized?

Try Orion. She lives on a biggish sailboat and has crossed the Pac.
