And you are always running short...

NINA HAGEN SMACK JACK (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9_vKMDryqt4)

I found the Goddess, Nina Hagen, on YouTube. GOD, do I love her. I saw her in concert twice... the one concert, I was first row, against the stage. I went backstage. Very cool woman...possibly the coolest. Ever.

And then there's

ZARAH (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5r5MBBRRn1Y)

I named my black cat Cosmo Zhiva Zarah. What can I say? It was 1984.

Nina Hagen on David Letterman (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FILh39gBluE)

Must see David Letterman clip. I was so surprised when she went on his show. I couldn't believe anybody in the real world knew who she was. Shocked the hell out of me.

Where's Poetina? He'd appreciate this thread. THIS IS SUCH A GOOD CLIP!

I do remember her. I also remember letting my friend who was obsessed with her cut my hair. Nina was an aquired taste back then. I was a rocker not a punk rocker. The New York song was cool. I'll admit it.

But where is she now?

You're funny. I can just imagine. I don't like that song either.

I wish I could see a picture of you back then.

Are we the same age? I'm 31 give or take 10 years. Okay, 41. I hate saying that.

KTC

I thought so. I remember those days when the kids, actually it was the older teens that were getting into that stuff. It was dark and different and it still exist today. Sort of like when punk went from cool to dark, cool.

KTC

Wow, you were young. I didn't really notice it until 80 and then I had some friends that were into it in 82 and 83 but my heart belonged to Rock-N-Roll. And then I became a Big Hair. Hair spoke to me. I loved guys long hair.

I must go shopping now.
