Freelance Reporter

Moving from Roundtable.

I have been a freelance reporter in the past. PM me if you want to ask questions etc. and I'll be happy to respond!

I guess I'm a freelance reporter... but I write features, not hard news. And I've only been doing it for about a year. I think I could be helpful with a minor character in a novel but not a really central one.

Ditto. I did this way back when I first started writing. But, I only wrote features and covered really boring stuff like school board meetings. There was one actualy paid reporter at the tiny newspaper, and he covered all the "hard" news.

I've been a newspaper reporter/editor since 1992 on every beat. I only freelanced in college. But I hire freelancers a lot, and I edit them.
