I'd still adopt him, but I'd get rid of the syringe.

If doggie is ugly enough, he can win ugly dog contests and make big bucks.

A Vulcan dog, even if he's ugly, now that would be cool reasonable logical. But he couldn't do the "Live Long and Prosper" hand signal.

Option 2. Just because the dog doesn't meet the current social standards of beauty doesn't mean he shouldn't be able to kick up his heels now and then.

I know it's probably hard to get very close to 'her', Haggis... but, I believe, if you look closely next time you're relatively near, you'll discover your 'girlfriend' is a 'boyfriend'. His name is 'Sam' and he was the ugliest dog in the world until his death a couple years ago.

Actually, Sam was my first avatar here right after I got in the 50 posts. I was sorry to see him go, but the Chihuahua simply looks more like me.

Maybe he's not ugly -- just rugged? Battle-scarred? There are some jobs that just aren't made for a pretty pooch! Fer instance.....

True enough, but that was after two litters. And now, I have grandpuppies. The seed is spread, and spreading even more. The world will be inundated with Haggis genes. Bwahahahaha.

"Overbite?" I hadn't noticed. Then again, we usually just sniff...well, you know.

Wouldn't an overbite make that sniff rather, uh, dangerous?
