Wow, we're really upping the ick factor around here today -- and big rodents are as icky as it gets!!

Gross.

Also...

Maybe it's because the time span they are used to talking about occurs in millions of years... But did they just try to say 1987 was ten years ago?

What so disgusting about a giant rodent? The capybara is the biggest living rodent right now, and it looks cute and delicious to me. Not all rodents are disease-carriers like rats. Got nothing against rats in fact. Something has to exert a controlling pressure on the destructive human. :)

Okay, this may just be me, but this looks like a rodent version of the Mafia.

The capybara is delicious. Just ask an anaconda.

Actually, humans in the Amazon and Orinoco River basins regularly eat capybara, and there are even ranches where the beast is raised for food. Who knows, soon we could be having McCapybara burgers right in our home towns.

I bet you've seen that vid of an anaconda stalking and killing a capybara on Youtube as well. :D

How many gallons of barbeque sauce you think it'd take for 2,000 lbs of meat?
