What if it was a golden fork, encrested with rubies, and you and someone else are both staring at the fork. Will you dive for it?

Was there an encrusted knife as well? Realize, hummingbird that a knife can carry much more goodies in its thicker, longer handle than a fork. If you plan to tempt us, tempt us well. Goodness, I'm beginning to think I'm on a road less travelled.
