This is somewhat comic related.

Back in late October I was interviewed by the esteemed Robert Siegal for NPR's All Things Considered program...about, of all things and people, The Lone Ranger.

You can find the backstory here:

I learned earlier today that the interview will air on January 14th, Monday at 4:35 PM, EST. It'll also be available online at npr.org after 7 PM.

So, you know...Hi-Yo and all of that...

Gratz, man. I grew up on Clayton Moore and Jay Silverheels--I almost didn't do an elementary play because I found out I'd miss The Lone Ranger. Fortunately cooler heads prevailed and I'm now a starving actor, so, I hope mom is proud.

Mark, just heard the interview on the way home in the car! What a great piece.

I never knew any of the origin. The whole piece was well done!

Congrats and revel in that!

Thanks, Jason. It was very well done, yeah. Very respectful to the character.

I was surprised--and amused--when I heard the sound bite from the old Bill Cosby routine I mentioned extemporaneously during the interview. Guess they thought that was a nice humorous hook.
