To me she's now always going to be synonymous with her role in American Beauty. Which means if I had a wife like that I would also start fantasising about 15 year olds, dropping out and smoking dope too. Good acting on her part though (that was to me a stand out brilliant movie) ... and yes, that younger photo is rather scrummy.

Resounding YES! In part because of the talent. Lucky enough to see her from the fourth row in a stage production of Hedda Gabler about 8 years ago. I'd liked her work before... but that night elevated her into the pantheon... and her work in Being Julia was just awesome.

HELL YES.

I must be in the minority here, but that woman just doesn't do it for me in the looks department. I can't say why exactly, except it's like she's just not there, and I'd find a blank space where her image should be almost as intriguing.
