Not hitted. Just hit. The word never changes in any conjugal form, except for "Hits," which is either an action committed by "He" or "She," or is otherwise a plural noun.
Sorry, remember that I am a ESL person and sometimes I say dumb things like Thinked or I just today discovered that you couldn't say sheeps. Is that feels old not having to conjugate verbs
Just think that in Spanish "I would be singing" is just "Cantaría"
