Can anyone tell me how much postage I'd need to mail a standard, business sized envelope from the US to Canada? I really don't want to go into the post office today if I can avoid it, and would love to put this thing in the outgoing mail.

I think I just answered my own question: http://ircalc.usps.gov/IntlMailServices.aspx?Country=10054&M=1&P=0&O=1

If anyone needs the U.S. Postal Service postage calculator, there it is! :)

I know when I ship to Canada I have to fill out this customs form from the post office. I don't think you can just put it in the mail and it will go. I think a standard letter would only be a couple of dollars at most though. I would probably call your post office and ask first.

I've filled out a customs form (IIRC it's really short, just your name and address, and what's in the box) for mailing a book outside the USA, but I don't think you need to do that with a letter. The USPS website should tell you, but regardless it also has an 800 number for questions.

I put a 66 US stamp on my SASE. It might go higher in January.

Oops, 69. I'd better slap on another 3 cents!
