Laundry sweethearts,

I've been in many a laundry before, but for the first time in my life I was witness to a young man presenting his girl a banana in the laundry room.

Now that's a bit weird, I must say. I can't for the life of me what possessed him to believe his girl wanted a banana while folding clothing.

I think my time of romance ended with a two week holiday on the Spanish Riviera.

If I only knew to bring a banana. I might be married today. Or I might be sharing my fruit with the lass in the laundry.

I tried to mind my own business. His banana passed between us and I looked the other way. So I can't say what words got her to rush out of the laundry.

I'm a living the story, so whatever I write is a reflection of my day. I'd write about the old folks firedrill, but I'm a bit tired from my first day of work.

LOL! Weird how life imitates art. I hadn't thought of that short for so long until you brought it up. The guy was my character in the story. I hope my stories don't return like this too often. Go ahead and share the link, but I have the revised story on disk with my collection.
