Well?

Anime, movie, manga, stuff like that. Maybe TV show or video games....

For me, it'd be anime, movie, and manga.

Ghost Machine would make a great movie. Donald Sutherland could play a supporting role, Steven Spielberg would direct.

Crap....

I forgot the fanfiction option....Or does that deserve its own thread?

I wouldn't consider fanfiction to be an adaptation, unless you mean in the form of media tie-in novels (like the Star Trek or Buffy books). Then again, novels based on your own novels is kind of weird.

Anyway....

I chose Movie or TV Show. I'd love to see my characters on screen. :D

Movie or TV show for me, too. I would love to see my Dragons on screen! :D

for now, actual print would be sufficient...

I would be okay with seeing my novel in any form so long as it was done WELL. I used to think that nobody could pull off my characters, but I've seen some actors lately who could do some of the parts very well. But since my vision of my work is so... well, MINE, and complete, I don't know if anyone else could really pull off what I envision in any other form.

graphic novel -- leading to film adaptation -- would be the cats pajamas...

A book is a book.

After I read Mr. Ferret's novel twice, I will be happy to pay $9.50 to see it on the big screen.

Then, inspired, I'll go finish mine.

Which I hope will go Book. Movie. TVshow. Video Game. And have anime branch offs from the primary story running on Nick at night. Late at night.

What is manga?

I'd like to see my novel interpreted through the medium of dance.

Can I change my answer. I want mine done in dance.

I'd love to see it in film, but one of the agents that offered representation was interesting in pursuing it as a graphic novel, which was a cool idea I'd never considered at the time.

Shameful as it may be, I can only picture my book as translating to an anime.

Which, of course, would mean it would be a manga first.

book, movie, action figures, legos and other assorted molded plastic toys, calendars...

Movie definitely. Maybe radio also, like Lake Woebegon or Odyssey. That might be cool. Or totally bite.
