Calling all Toastmasters

Hi. I'm doing a piece for the Toastmaster Magazine about setting goals and using visualization as a way to success - specifically (but not exclusively) success in the speaking realm or in leadership. My question is have any of you used either goal-setting or visualization? If so, how did it work out? Have you done so WRT giving a presentation or taking on a leadership role?
