Um, I guess this would have to be the last thing that went into the grocery cart this morning. Which would be a... tomato. I was going to get an organic one because they looked redder and nicer but then there was this guy standing in front of them squeezing all of the avocados and I didn't want to bother him so I went and picked out a regular artificially ripened one instead.

A NY Post, a pomegranate, and a box of Raisin Bran.I suffered a pomegranate injury last night. I was freeing the seeds when the rind slipped and jabbed deep under my thumbnail. Ouch. It's all swollen and tender today. Be careful. Pomegranates are dangerous.

Perks
11-27-2007, 05:01 AM
Pomegranates are fantastic. I love them beyond all reason and eat them until the tip of my tongue is raw from prodding at the little seeds.

They are dangerous, and like all things beautiful, perilous and delicious, they have stolen a corner of my heart.

Ha! I bought 7 books last week, was given 3 and borrowed 16 from my mom! Then took them all on a plane. :)They let you? You could knock someone unconscious with all those books. You could've taken over the plane, brandishing a tome at useless flight attendants and cowardly pilots. You could have caused an INTERNATIONAL INCIDENT!

What were they thinking - letting you on a plane with all those books?

What the state of National Security coming to?
