They also missed...

Rocky
The Doors
Trainspotting
Reservoir Dogs
Taxi Driver/Casino/Goodfellas/Scorcese
Beers from around the world
Road signs with funny explanations
New York skyline
Van Gogh's Starry Night
Hopper's Nighthawks
Nirvana's Nevermind
A list of George Bush-isms
The b&w one of the two chicks kissing
A dolphin leaping out of azure waters in some tropical paradise set against a sky full of twinkling stars.

Or, for added collegey retro effect, any of the above with some sort of Homer Simpson variant.

I had the Trainspotting one when I was 17. Seeing it in a record shop a couple of days ago made me laugh a lot thinking of a 17 year old having it now.

Where's Isaac Newton's prism demonstration, more popularly known as "The Dark Side Of The Moon" album cover?

Where's ANYTHING that says Pink Floyd?

Do kids nowadays still use the Dark Side LP cover opened up for rolling doobies? A CD case is just too small, much less an iPod. Minds that used to inhale want to know...

And would I be telling my age if I said my college roommate had the Farrah poster (thanks Haggis, I knew that deserved a mention)?

I always look at the faces of anyone wearing a Led Zeppelin shirt, just to see if they might have been born before the band broke up.

What about Klimt's "The Kiss"? That one was featured in a Buffy the Vampire Slayer episode as a favorite of college freshmen. My college days were so long ago they were still painting bison on the cave walls...

Way back in the late 1950s because of Hemingway and the success of Barnaby Conrad's Matador , many of us had on our walls a reprint of the bullfight poster advertising Manolete's last corrida.

I didn't go to college.

But I had lots of posters of Johnny Winter.

I'm surprised Che wasn't on there.

My sister has the Abbey Road poster in her dorm room, actually...but she loves the Beatles, and her name is Abby. So I think she's allowed.

Shady, who has a Che Guevara poster (or two) in her room, and is staring at her Abbey Road album cover as she types this

WHAT?

No Escher?
No Robert Doisneau photographs of couples kissing under a Paris lamppost?

Huh.

I honestly can't remember a single poster hanging on my walls in the dorms.
Of course, I had a handmade wall hanging from probably 30-40 years ago featuring our school mascot. Don't tell the school, they might want a check for the unlicensed usage... :tongue

My best friend had the Dali with the clocks. Her roommate's wall was plastered with Iron Maiden.

All of my college dorm posters were vintage (read young) Robert Plant. Isn't he a cliche yet?

Ah, memories are made of this... :D

I had a Desiderata poster - does that count?

So my blacklight poster of the two vultures in a dead tree looking out over the desert saying, 'F#%^ this, I'm gonna kill something" puts me way out of date, eh?

And the Bo Derek poster? Dated, too?
