Nah. They have a small parachute on the back. At the end of the video you can see the parachute come out. So yeah, you still need a parachute to land. But wow, how cool. And I've been up on that mountain (I believe it's in Switzerland) -- it is the most perfect place to fly.
I hope they make it into a business. I would SO love to go there again and glide down like a flying squirrel. One of the best memories I had was whitewater rafting in Austria. The Alps were simply stunning.

Snacks? Someone sticks out their hand and gives you a sandwich as you zoom by. You can either grab it, or just open your mouth. Potty, that's taken care of in the first 5 seconds, that's why the legs of those suits they're wearing appear to stre-e-e-etch so much.
