The ALARMING ASPECT of this story is the tremendous loss of life (organic Irish Salmon)!!! I heard this report yesterday and immediately RAN out to get some Irish Salmon!!

A 'bloom' of jellyfish sounds so poetic, I almost forgot that they freak me out. There are always loads of them on the beach near mum's house, but I'd never thought of them being about this late in the year - I mean it's freezing here right now.

Creepy.

In posting the story, I felt surprised that Scotland would have a jellyfish problem. I didn't think jellyfish were a cold water thing. However, I forget that the Gulf Stream runs along the west side of the country and, so, that's that.
