care to post or share some of the queries that netted you a contract for your memoir?
I'm good with nonfic proposals, but the idea of flying off a query worries me.

eta: I realize that memoirs ARE nonfic, but I know that some treat them as novels when submitting. That while I can sell a true nonfic book on a proposal, I'll need chapters or even the whole manuscript to sell a memoir. hence my question.
