Which was the best Facts of Life theme song? No matter which one you vote for, they'll both be stuck in your head for the rest of the day.

Season One (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fwl6i7BOChU)(featuring the lovely Mrs. Garret)

Season Three (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aVKorvaODdM) (featuring all that was soulless and overly-polished about the 80's)

Oh, god. You mean you actually admit to watching it?

I think your modship in the Music Forum should be revoked.

I simply wish for others to share in my suffering. Is that so wrong? And Charlotte Rae was nominated for two Tony awards (http://www.us.imdb.com/name/nm0705989/bio). That'll win you alot of money on Jeopardy some day.

soulless 80s, my ass!

This is a serious, scientific thread good sir and in the spirit of the season I'd ask you kindly not to disparage its assertions. At least you voted for the right one.

I like them both, but went with one because I watched all the seasons. What's vapid?

Vapid:
–adjective 1.lacking or having lost life, sharpness, or flavor; insipid; flat: vapid tea. 2.without liveliness or spirit; dull or tedious: a vapid party; vapid conversation.

Anyone wanna go in on a Facts of Life box set for Mac for Christmas?

YOU will note above my edit of previous post.

Also, please note...there is no SEASON in Canada at the moment...except for the COLD SEASON.

Whichever one where Lisa Whelchel's hair was the tallest, mallest hair it had ever been.

I love the use of "mall" as an adjective. That's brilliant. You need to copyright that, Ben.

Down here we just have the cold and flu season (nyuk nyuk nyuk).

Clearly season one because it contained one of the great lyrics in music history.

"When the boys you used to hate you date...I guess you best investigate."

'Nuff said.

I wanted to live in roller skates too. But I was way more fabulous than Tootie. Way...

Molly Ringwold was in season 1 and her name was Molly.

I just find that funny.

Definitely Season 3 and up. It had a lot more pizzazz than the first.

But boy did those clips bring out some flashbacks. Wow. I watched that show from the very first to the very last. (Anyone remember "Edna's Edibles?")

And IIRC, George Clooney was on that show in later seasons.

(Oh, and for the record, the title of this thread should be "Which Facts of Life Theme Song was Better. You only gave us two theme song choices.)

The song is ringing in my ears. Only slightly out of tune... like in a horror movie.

BTW, only REAL men can admit to watching cheezy 80s shows without it effecting their masculinity. :)

Oh.. and my answer is season 3.

You'll probably get a cracked woman card that you will have to return. Don't bother...
