Oooh, that's a bit scary. I don't like any creepy crawlies; especially not ones that big!

I liked this bit:

The size of the beast suggests that spiders, insects, crabs and similar creatures were much larger in the past than previously thought.

I knew there was a good reason I was born in this day and age instead of that long ago!

That is SO totally awesome (in the "I'll never have to see one personally and get eaten, so I can admire it from the distance of time" kind of way). Great link!

When will it stop? "Man-sized..." sheesh! Why not "Beonce Knowles-sized" or "Glenda the Good Witch of the North-sized," for once?!

So size does not matter?

Nope, it's the creature that counts. :)

Could you imagine the size of the shoe you'd need to kill one o'them gi-normous spiders? **shudders**

Why do I hear Homer Simpson signing "Lobster . . . . ahhhhhhhhhhhghghghghghgh . . . "?

I told you, yes I did, I said that's why so many people are afraid of spiders and their ilk, 'cause in times past they were ginormous and preyed on our ancestors, who did battle unto death with the multi-legged scum.

NEVER STOP STAMPING.

This just aired on Channel 5, but I didn't bother watching it as my interest for television had run out by then.

Never met me a rodent I couldn't disembowel with my trusty 12" blade. Yep, just split 'em up the middle, they ain't so tough then. Looks like I'd have to crawl inside that one. But Priscilla would get the job done. Mighty fine eating, too.

Man sized? I though that was this big, around twelve inches. *holds thumb and forefinger six inches apart*
