I managed to move a tad faster having a feel for it now, as you'll see by the photos. I discovered some of the walls are uneven with the edges of the counters (i.e., not 90 degrees and that's difficult). Still a lot of detailed cutting to go but some good progress for a half day's work. Album link is here. Here's a preview:

PS...I have to wonder if there's a squirrel in one of those cupboards?

PS #2 Halloween is over.
Not in that little corner of the house. Besides, the Halloween candy is just two feet above my smirking head.

Memo to self: take that Halloween thing down ...

Those counter tops look a little bumpy. :D

Seriously, it looks great! You've done an excellent job so far.

Is that what the kids are calling it now? A "heavy night on the tiles"?

No sir! I first heard a "night on the tiles" reference made by my classical studies teacher about a character named Elpenor in Homer's Odyssey who died after getting drunk and falling off a roof.

Not that I'm suggesting you would ever drink n' tile.

Bought the bottle today.

If the bottle you bought is red wine, don't get it near those counters until the grout has been sealed. :D

Hey, good point. There's a kangaroo on the bottle. But, yeah, that's not a seal so much ... :)

LOL, you should see my fingernails today from scraping off the adhesive and grout from the tops of the tiles. Egad.

And for next: I'm told the next project is tiling the floor. :) Not looking forward to that. Counter space is thismuch and floor space is THISFREAKINGMUCH:D
