Welcome to the Humor Writing Forum! Since you're relatively new...I'll be your tour guide.
When you create a thread, the idea is to create the opportunity for a dialogue. SYW is where we show our humor chops with pieces we hope to turn into cash somewhere while building a list of credits.
You have an impulse for humor, dazzle us in the SYW section titled (tadah! Humor) and title the piece, also give us an idea of if you are posting just to amuse or to have shredded for writing improvement and sharpening punch lines. There are writing exercises here to stretch the funny bone --Meerkat's Jack Handy comes to mind, and places to test stand up --comedy cabaret, talk to Lady Jay, these are two very popular spots.
Weekend Report is designed to keep people writing and submitting by posting what else, weekend reports.
