Well, this should spark some lively debate!

Pole = upright metallic thing, or upright man from Poland?

Let's see... a pole to climb upon is fun indeed, but a poll to vote on is something we need. A pole can be long, a pole can be short, you can talk to a pole but it won't make retort. A poll to be taken, is a poll to be had, but last weeks poll is awfully sad. Because seven days after the tallied poll rings, the results it brought don't mean a darn thing. Some people set records by sittings on poles, and then there's those people who are as dumb as a pole. In a big car race drivers want to have the pole, though politicians prefer to be ahead in the polls. A pollster is someone that takes a good poll, to see if a canidate's message was ran up the pole. ...And so I have finished this paltry little post, which should readily be apparent to all if not most, that I'm feeling somewhat low, that i can't think of anything else that rhymes with a pole/poll.......

How come you didn't start a Poll Pole?

I wanted pol as the third option.

And Pot as the fourth, no doubt.

What are you suggesting?

11-15-2007, 06:30 AM
I'm suggesting it's time for me to go to bed.

hmpf. I expected a poll on who we wanted to see dancing on a pole. Or maybe tied to one, on fire. Probably not both.

That's not what it sounded like. You're speaking in tongues, Judas.

Wait. Are you calling me a polecat?

I chose Pole because my mother's side of the family came from eastern Europe.

Definitely Pole. It’s good exercise.
