Yes, Dutch sense of humor is nortorious. I was on a train once to Leiden and didn't know if I was on the right train. I had an appointment with a real estate agent. I asked a few passengers where the train was going and they said "Spain."

What?

I was freaking out because my appointment was a half hour late already. So I asked a conductor "Excuse me sir, but where is this train going to?"

He replied "Spain." just about the time the train pulled up to the station in Leiden.

They all pulled a funny on me. I laughed for about an hour.
