Thanks Trish. Some of my fondest childhood memories are of watching the Carol Burnett show with my parents.
Mine too! My stepmom sent that to me this morning and I laughed until I cried. It has always been one of my favorite skits.

That is a classic. Korman and Conway were geniuses. I love how Korman can't keep a straight face.
I know! And it makes me laugh harder.
They did a skit where they were rowing a slave ship too - Corman loses it, completely.
Carol Burnett was such a stickler for being professional, always telling them they had to play it straight, but how could you POSSIBLY keep a straight face with Tim Conway in the room?

The siamese elephants had to be the best example of Conway doing his best to crack up the rest of the cast.
My boss and I just talked about the siamese elephants. He was so dang funny in that skit.
I really need to see if there's a DVD of those skits. I would watch them over and over again.

I never got into Taxi. Might be because I missed it while in the Navy, but I've tried to catch it in reruns and it just doesn't do it for me.
