This must sound impossible -- but until my seventh rejection, I never ven got a "Dear Author" rejection. I am no longer deprived, however, as one from Front Street came in the mail! Hurray for the form letter! :hooray:

I once got a rubber stamped rejection on my query:

"Author: Not for us at this time!"

I thought that was about as dehumanizing as was possible. Think of the man-hours that rubber stamp must have saved, eh?
