Why You Flunked English

Here's an "Ode To Plurals" I found in the Crestwood Advisor, given to me with several Chicago newspapers. I tried to trace this online, but came up empty as per author. Funny stuff. Someone should claim their work. Enjoy.

Now you've got me checking my i's and e's. That explains why I had so much trouble with their. Finally had to say the-ir, the-ir, until it stuck.
