For those who remember the advice on kitten thread I started a couple of months ago, you'll be thrilled to know we're getting the kitten (now three months old) on Monday. All I have to do now is cat-proof the house. :)

Thanks. I'm just hoping he doesn't poo in my shoes.

He may. But only if he doesn't like you. :)

Did I ever tell you about the cat and the cactus? No?

Well, it involved a friend and his shoes. Smart cat.

But totally, totally warped.

You might want to let kitty know about that humongous spider-who-never-left-your house. You only think he left 'cause he left you a note. It was all a trick; he's still there.

Na, that spider was here at work. If he'd been in the house, my girlfriend would have spent the last week in the garden. She's not much of a spider fan.

New kitten stuff -

If you celebrate and/or decorate for Christmas, watch out. They love Christmas trees, tinsel, and dangling . . . things.

Also electrical cords of all types, plugged in and unplugged, for chewing and general playing around; you'll want to watch for that. Some are more interested than others.

This is tres cool. You will love your kitteh.

:)

Yeah, I figured he'd be interested in cords which is a pain as I have a long phone extension cord running up the stairs. Me thinks I'll need to hook it to the wall out of reach.

Pssst, seun's girlfriend: there are more spiders in the garden...

I can just picture the wittle kitten resting on seun's head while he sleeps...

Well, I suppose it would save buying a hat.

Er...yea. Don't walk around in just a towel. Hubby can vouch for that one:D

OK, ladies, stop drooling. It's a very short towel.

You can try leaving your tree up undecorated for a few days. Sometimes they get all the fun out of knocking it over out of their systems - then they'll leave it alone after it's decorated.

Might depend on the cat, though. And the age of the cat.
