Is there any national/local groups that keep a calendar of writer groups? I was curious to know if there would be any way to locate any in my area.

Thanks

There are several threads on writers groups here already. Maybe if you just asked if there are any in your area and let others know the general vacinity of that area someone will let you know. You might even try googling 'Writer Groups -your area-'

Check with local bookstores and libraries....they sometimes know if they're one around.

Well, hellooo there.

I'm in Cumming, right close to ya, just across the mudpit. We have a little group that meets every other Sunday at the Atlanta Bread Company in Cumming, right off exit 14 from 400. In fact, we'll be getting together again this Sunday at 7pm.

Join us?

Alas...I only wish Atlanta was 1.5 hours away. With traffic, during the week, its A LOT longer of a drive...

Thank you so much for your help though!

Check out the Events page on my site http://www.CreativeCauldron.com to find writing events all over the country. You may be able to hook up with some people through these events.

I know that the newspaper in my town lists writer's groups, and two bookstores in my area have writer's groups.

Have Fun,
Jeff
