Come on in! I know you want to. Is the laundry all done? I bet your pets are demanding your attention. Or this could be the perfect time to clip your nails. Or go to the kitchen and grab a bite. Mmm, brownie, don't you want one?

Come on! Let's procrasinate! What are your favorite methods of procrasination?

Well. I am procrastinating on my decision to participate. Does that count? I have 0 words thus far. I'm doing well.

Your brownies have green stuff growing in 'em.

And, my bed is made and my clothes are mostly hung up and my desk is cleaned off and I've exercised (a little), and... ;)

Oh, and I clipped my nails last night. Necessary for typing, after all!

It's mint!! Or could be pot... I'm not sure. Maybe that explains why I've felt so creative today.

Anyway... I just maxed out on procrasination. I actually went to the bank to pay my brother's school. I lost an hour and a half of my life today. And... I'm in French class right now. But I'd rather write than pay attention. Even procrasination has its limits....

Great, now I want mint brownies!

Although I have been bouncing (mini-trampoline) every couple thousand words. Maybe that'll make it ok. ;)

How are you managing to post from French class?

Oh man, I need motivation. I got my WIP all plotted out and today Nano starts and...

Pfft. I'm just SO unenthused right now, mainly because I am in the middle of getting tons of rejections...........................................

Ugh. Blah!!!

That is all. :)

You're doing better than me, Jo. I have zero rejections (because I'm too chicken to sub anything), and I have almost no plot to speak of. I am actively hating my piece right now, but I'm gonna keep going. Even if this turns out to be a trunk novel, at least it'll be a FINISHED trunk novel. :)

You hang in there, Jo. Have one of Dama's mint brownies!

I am procrastinating by being a Grammar Hammer on various forums.

Speaking of which, "procrastination" is misspelled in the title of this thread.

AWAY!

Thanks, guys. Now I want mint brownies AND a mini-trampoline!

I think I'm procrastinating by thinking about the things I want. Things other than to publish a book some day!

Thanks, Cranky. Does gorging myself on all the leftover Junior Mints from Halloween count?

I feel sick... :)

Then you need more. Come back when you 've reached the point where you vow to never touch them again.

I'll share! Ok, I don't have mint brownies, but I have chocolate chip cookies. And I'm the only one in the house. This is not good!

Need to go bounce some more now...

We've got wireless access all over Campus, which means I can get into internet during class as long as my computer's battery is working or I manage to sit next to a socket :) Gotta love technology.

here, a fresh batch of brownies, this time with ice-cream:

I recall a word game of making up new definitions for slightly misspelled words. I think it was on NPR. Here's an example from the misspelling in the thread title:

Procrasination: Putting off an assasination.
And I still haev (over two!) hours to catch up to my daily quota. Haev. Well at least my typing is in the spirit of things.

Thanks, Annie!

::bounces on the mini-trampoline while munching a chocolate chip cookie::

Maybe this'll shake some words loose from my brain. Watch out for the crumbs!

And DamaNegra - no fair with the ice cream and the cho-co-lit sauce...
